This beautiful initiative of Philippe Forget compiles 99 "sirandanes" (Mauritian folk riddles) to celebrate the creole language on the year of the 50th anniversary of our country's independence.
We translated every Sirandane to french to broaden the audience. Our resident illustrator, Yann Erasmus, created a series of illustrations to complement the collection with just the right amount of humour. Add to that our unconventional layout design, and you get an unapologetically bold and proudly Mauritian tome.
